The Original Sudoku Calendar is on the up-and-up. Because these puzzles, printed in lively full color, are simply the best you’ll find anywhere. From Nikoli, the Japanese publisher that invented Sudoku, they are completely handmade—which means every puzzle is like a mind game between you and its creator. Nikoli’s grids have an elegance that computer-generated puzzles don’t; they strike the perfect balance of challenge and solvability. The calendar features easy puzzles each weekend, with progressively more difficult ones over the course of the week. more info

Nice colorfull layout easy to work with, self contained. The levels are not that difficult just enough to keep the fun in it.

The Soduku Page-A-Day Calendar sits next to my chair waiting for me every day: The Original Sudoku Page-A-Day Calendar 2009 (Page a Day Fun & Games Calendr) The sodoku can be solved with logic and no guessing is required. It progresses in difficulty from Monday to Friday with Saturday and Sunday easy. Large squares, engaging, challenging, fun brain activity!!

Second year with sudoku page-a-day calendar. Absolutely love it. I do it every day–even bought one for a friend. Well worth the price.

The two prior years I had a Sudoku calendar that varied from hard to difficult as the week progressed. If I didn’t get to it on a daily basis, they would fit in my purse so I could do while waiting places. This former calendar seems to have been discontinued so I bought “The Original Sudoku”. The sheets, while easy to see are too big for my purse and the puzzles are all too easy (I like a variety of levels.)I also prefer a harder puzzle on the weekend when I have more time to do it and this one combines two easy ones on Sat and Sun which I don’t like. Otherwise it is fine, the sheets are easier to remove than the pad style and works well as a calendar.

This makes a fantastic gift for your friends or family that like to do Sudoku. The print is large and the puzzles are fun, all wrapped up in a calendar!

I love this calendar!

I purchased this calendar because I love to do Sudoku puzzles every day. Other page-a-day calendars combine Saturday and Sunday into one puzzle, but not this one. There is one puzzle per day. The pages are colorful and the spaces are large. (Except for the Saturday and Sunday puzzles which are shrunken down to fit 2 puzzles on one page) I highly recommend this calendar!

I’m an addict!

I can’t get enough Sudoku! This sits next to my table and is part of my morning routine. Many of the books in stores are too simple, but this has a few very simple ones (Saturdays and Sundays), easy ones (Mondays and Tuesdays), tougher ones (Wednesdays and Thursdays) and one challenging one a week on Fridays. Just right!

It is not a book, but a page-a-day calendar, where you work the puzzle and then move it to the back of the stack. I am wondering if you can buy refills, since the plastic holder/stand is reusable.

Is like an art form!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Wow! These are beautiful in a way I didn’t know Sudoku could be. The 1st page points out that they are individually designed – not random computer generation – so the numbers you begin with form a flowing pattern across the grid. They’re very lovely. Also. this set is better because each heavy paper page is separate from the others, no ripping off from the top. Too, for M-F, the # boxes are fairly large (this set is bigger by an inch or more than regular page-a-day calendars). Sat and Sun are squeezed onto one page. Lastly, They run in order from easiest to hardest over the course of the week, just like in newspapers. Enjoy!
